Thank you for visiting Monologue Search! We started this site in July of 2006 and since then we have gained over 10,000 members and over 3000 monologues... The database continues to grow and we continue to refine our mission, the style of the site, and the information we are gathering.

If you have been to our site before, you may have noticed a major departure from our original look. We are in the midst of a major overhaul. We have assembled a fantastic team of editors and they are serving to filter all of our monologues down to the essential information. As a result, we have recently shut down the "Add a New Monologue" feature in order to deal with the 3000+ monologues that we have already received. We have also contacted the Dramatists Guild of America and we are currently working with them to better serve the interests of the playwrights featured on our site.
