Summary
This monologue takes place in Act II. Rose, the simple sister, has just returned after sneaking out to meet Danny Bradley. Her sisters have been in a mad panic over her disappearance. In response to her sisters' questioning of her whereabouts, Rose states that she met Danny Bradley in Lough Anna. She tells them about the picnic they had and how he called her his "Rosebud." She ends by telling them that that's all she's going to say and she marches offstage.
